What it means
A badge is your verified journey, made visible.
iVisited badges are not cosmetic rewards. Each tier reflects how many destinations you verified on site and turned into certificates — the same proof that powers your PDF keepsakes, public visit links, and 3D atlas.
Tied to real visits
Badges follow verified certificates, not clicks or saves. Presence checks keep every tier meaningful.
Shown where it matters
Your profile hero, public atlas, visit pages, and certificate PDFs carry the badge you have earned.
Grows with you
Collect more verified places and your badge upgrades automatically — no forms, no waiting.
The tiers
Five badges. One continuous path.
Pin, compass, route, collection, globe — each tier unlocks at a certificate milestone. The icon on your profile always reflects your highest earned level.
Tier 1
Beginner
1–5 CERTIFICATES
Your first verified pin
Beginner marks the moment your atlas stops being empty. One on-site verification is enough: you chose a place, proved you were there, and claimed a keepsake that lasts.
1 to goTier 2
Explorer
6–9 CERTIFICATES
A shortlist that travels with you
Explorer is for travellers who keep returning to the map. Six verified stops show a pattern: curiosity, planning, and proof that adds up across cities and countries.
6 to goTier 3
Traveller
10–19 CERTIFICATES
A record you can stand on
Traveller reflects depth, not luck. Ten verified achievements mean a growing timeline of places you actually visited, each tied to GPS or photo verification on site.

Collector
20–99 CERTIFICATES
A collection that keeps growing
Collector marks a serious collection of verified places — twenty or more certificates built across trips, cities, and return visits. Your travel history is no longer a handful of pins; it is a map worth sharing.

Atlas
100+ CERTIFICATES
A world mapped by experience
Atlas is reserved for travellers with 100 or more verified places. A rare milestone built across cities, countries and journeys, each one becoming part of a permanent travel record.

Common questions
Badge rules, simply put.
- What does a badge represent?
- It is a traveller tier based on how many location-verified certificates you own. It appears on your profile, public atlas, and certificate PDFs, so friends can see how far your verified journey has gone.
- Which certificates count?
- Every active certificate in your account counts: free welcome certificates, package credits, and paid claims. Revoked certificates do not count. Shared certificates you received from someone else do not count toward your own badge.
- Do I need to apply for a badge?
- No. Once you hold enough verified certificates, the badge unlocks instantly and stays visible on your profile and shared pages.
- What is Atlas?
- Atlas is the top tier at 100 or more verified certificates. It is rare by design — a long-term milestone for travellers who have built a permanent record across many places.
- Can I lose a badge?
- If certificates are revoked or your active count drops below a tier threshold, your displayed badge reflects your current total. Keep collecting to move back up.
